Public Tours this week  
 Tours will begin May 2012

You should allow for 10 to 15 minutes to find parking on the main roads around the dock vicinity- the dock is on 4 Indian Point Rd, Stony Creek,CT. Please use the public restrooms in town before boarding the boat as we can not accomodate the general public with the boat's restroom facility.We board the boat at quarter of the hour and depart on top of the hour. It is a 45 minute live narrated boat ride. We discuss the natural history of the islands, as well as when they became inhabited. We recount old stories and legends and you will see picturesque scenery, including beautiful homes and
 shore birds. We ask that people refrain from loud conversation and cell phone conversation as it is distracting for the people that want to hear the tour. A plea to parents with children, kids are expected to be behaved on the boat and the tour is not recommended for children under three-although everybody is welcome.
